Trauma therapy for people who are tired of holding it together.

You’re capable. People count on you. From the outside, it looks like you’ve handled everything life has handed you. And you have.

But holding it together has a cost: tension that never fully lets go, sleep that doesn’t restore you, reactions that feel bigger than the moment. That isn’t a character flaw. It’s your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe.

In person in Tampa and virtual throughout Florida.

Does this sound familiar?

You’re the one everyone leans on, and you’re not sure where to put yourown weight.

You understand your past. You’ve talked about it. It still shows up in your body.

Small things set off big reactions, and afterward you wonder where that came from

Rest feels uncomfortable, or you can’t find the off switch.

You’ve been in treatment before, or you’re working hard to stay out of it.

Trauma isn’t only what happened. It’s what your body still carries.

Trauma can be one overwhelming event. More often, it’s years of staying on alert: an unpredictable home, carrying too much too young, pushing through loss without room to feel it. Talk therapy helps you understand it. But understanding doesn’t always reach the part of you that’s still bracing. That’s where my work focuses.

How I work with trauma

1

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

A structured therapy that uses eye movements to help painful memories lose their charge. You don’t have to describe every detail out loud for it to work.

2

Safe and Sound Protocol
Rest and Restore Protocol

A listening therapy developed by Unyte, based on Polyvagal Theory. It helps your nervous system shift out of constant alert, so the rest of therapy has somewhere to land.

3

Relational Life Therapy (RLT)

Trauma often shows up most in relationships: when you go quiet, when you push back, how much you carry alone. RLT helps you see where those patterns started, so you can respond from who you are now instead of who you once had to be.

Common questions about trauma therapy

Do I need a trauma diagnosis to work with you?

No. Many of my clients wouldn't call what they've been through "trauma." Or, they know they have been through hard things but don't want to view themselves as a victim of them. If you're exhausted from holding it together, that's reason enough to reach out.

Do you offer trauma therapy online?

Yes. I see clients in person in Tampa and virtually throughout Florida.

Do I have to talk about everything that happened?

No. ART and SSP don't require you to retell every detail. We move at a pace your nervous system can handle.

Do you take insurance?

I'm a private-pay practice. You'll find my rates on the FAQs & Fees page.

Let's talk it through. A free 15-minute call is the easiest way to find out if this fits where you are right now.
